July High Roller Original Match Play!

Just like the old days!

Greetings from Las Vegas!

It's been a big month here at High Roller, rolling out a new website, logo and format for the July High Roller! The website and logo are actually brand new but the format is similar to what we used for many years starting back in August of 1982 at Showboat Lanes.

There are a few changes to the famous High Roller match play. There are 2 divisions: Age 49 &Under and the combination division for Age 50 & Over and players with all averages of 215 or less. You will bowl your matches in one of those divisions and then the last remaining player from each division bowls one more match for the title!

Also different from 27 years ago are the re-entry squads. There are 4 re-entry squads for players that are eliminated in any of the first 3 rounds. Round 3 is the money round where 1 in 8 of the field wins $1,000. Any player that hasn't won that great bottom prize may re-enter. In all re-entry squads, players start over in a new Round 1. Players receive a different Storm high performance ball on their 1st & 3rd re-entry.

Visit us at www.high-roller.com to view and print the new brochure for the July High Roller - it's all match play and we are very excited! Our phone lines have been ringing off the hook and we have received more email than we have in a long time! In fact, we have already contacted our printer and increased the order! No kidding!

From June 29 to the July 4th fireworks, Sam’s Town Hotel, Gambling Hall & Bowling Center in Las Vegas will host the electric atmosphere that made the High Roller famous. It was in 1982 that the world learned that this format is the most exciting and pressure-packed format of them all! Experience High Roller’s famous single game elimination matches in front of huge crowds. Round by round, whether you are bowling or watching your friends, you will see great matches and great 10th frames. And it doesn’t let up until a champ is crowned on Saturday, July 4th. A $350 entry fee can lead to a top prize as high as $50,000!

"Anyone can beat anyone in a 1-game match!" said Norm Edelman, and it became our slogan for 23 years as the best players don’t always win. But for those who are eliminated in the first 3 rounds, re-entries are available. If you lose, you can re-enter and have another chance at those huge top prizes. In fact, players re-entering receive a Storm high performance ball! Become the last undefeated player to win the title - 1 opponent at a time! You don’t need to beat half or the entire field.

It is always luck-of-the-draw that determines your lane and your opponent. Select your 1st round match play time. But from that point forward it is strictly luck-of-the-draw as you advance from round to round. What a great feeling it is to visit the Winner’s Circle after each round!

And don’t forget: • 5 Roto Grip Sweepers that pay up to $4,000 for 1st place. There are guaranteed prizes for Seniors in 3 Sweepers. • Enter early for Free Entries in the Vise Inserts VIP events! • For players staying at Sam’s Town – the $3,000 Coca Cola Give-A-Way! A special event just for hotel guests – at no cost!

So get ready and make your plans now for the 28th annual July High Roller! See you there!

"Anyone can beat anyone in a 1-game match!"

Call Sam's Town now at 1-877-593-5993 and mention High Roller to take advantage of great room rates as low as $39.99! And visit Sam's Town's new Sports Room to make all of your baseball wagers! It's the best place in town to watch the games! Contestants staying at Sam's Town Hotel will receive coupons and discounts for many hotel and casino amenities!

Storm, the Presenting Sponsor will award hundreds of new Storm balls during the July High Roller for players re-entering. And the Storm staff will be onsite for information and layout all week.

Reminder for anyone interested in a great-tasting and healthy way to get your daily vitamins and minerals, go to www.high-roller.com and click on the Verve logo. All High Roller proceeds from Verve sales go towards prize money!

The July High Roller brochure is now available on our website www.high-roller.com. High Roller has now paid $81,636,519 in prizes to bowlers since the inaugural event in 1982!
